We developed Eco-Flote in 1991 and became one of the first companies to develop armored polystyrene flotation that protects waterways from pollution. Since that time we have provided our high-quality floats to dock makers around the U.S. and Canada for use in a wide variety of residential, municipal, and industrial applications. And, of course, these floats are an essential componant of every Eco-Flote™ dock and Verti-Lift™. Here are some of the key features:

  • Rectangular shape is specifically engineered to provide maximum strength, buoyancy and stability.
  • Rotational molding eliminates the weak spots on edges and corners inherent in vacuum-formed and sprayed coverings. It also eliminates seams that can result in separation and leakage.
  • Stainless steel fastening inserts are molded into the shell for quick and simple attachment to dock frames. There are no protruding flanges that can easily crack and break.
  • They can easily be attached to any dock using nothing more than a socket wrench and 3/8 inch bolts.
  • UV Stabilized and impact resistant ployethylene survives the harsh winters of northern climates and the punishing heat of the tropics. It is not damaged by petroleum residue or saltwater. Closed-cell high-density polystyrene foam provides flotation even when the armor is punctured.
  • They are environmentally safe: non-corrosive, non-toxic and ultimately recyclable.
  • They meet all United States Army Corps of Engineer specifications.
  • Available in three sizes to provide maximum versatility.
